1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the MacroLift application and associated web properties provided by Dignix ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
Current free-access offer: All Macro Lift features are free through December 31, 2026, inclusive. Any pricing after this date will be announced separately.
2. Medical, Health, and Nutrition Disclaimer
- No Medical Advice: MacroLift is designed strictly for informational, educational, and fitness tracking purposes. We are not a healthcare provider, and the Services do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Assumption of Risk: The use of any workout routines, exercise instructions, or nutritional guidelines provided within the App is solely at your own risk. Exercise carries inherent risks of physical injury.
- Nutritional Accuracy Disclaimer: The nutritional information, macronutrient breakdowns, and calorie counts provided within the App's database are approximations derived from general data sources. They do not represent exact or guaranteed nutritional values. Actual values may vary significantly based on factors including, but not limited to, exact portion sizes, preparation methods, brand variations, agricultural differences, and product quality. Dignix makes no warranties regarding the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of this dietary data.
- Physician Consultation: You should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional or certified nutritionist before beginning any new diet, fitness program, or progressive overload protocol.
Programs, estimates, and reminders: Workout schedules, suggested loads, recovery information, calorie targets, and progress estimates are general fitness aids, not a clinical assessment or a guarantee of results. Review exercises against your abilities, limitations, and available equipment before starting. Exercise videos do not replace individual instruction. Reminder delivery and connected health totals depend on device settings, permissions, and data availability; they are not medical alerts or monitoring services.
3. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Media
- Company Content: All proprietary code, software architecture, UI/UX designs, structural models, text, and original graphics provided by the App are the exclusive intellectual property of Dignix and are protected by applicable copyright laws.
- Third-Party Media: Exercise demonstration media may be supplied by third parties and remains the property of its respective rights holders. Availability in the App does not transfer ownership or grant you permission to redistribute it. Public availability or an educational purpose does not by itself establish permission to reuse media. Dignix will remove or replace material when it lacks the rights or permission required for distribution.
- License to Use: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal fitness tracking.
4. Copyright Claims and Takedown Requests
Dignix respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you are the rightful copyright owner (or an authorized agent) of any video or media displayed within the App and believe its use infringes upon your copyrights, please submit a formal takedown notice to info@dignix.in.
Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The specific name of the exercise/video in the App where the material is located.
- Your contact information (name, address, email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
Upon receipt of a valid claim, we will promptly investigate and remove the media in question from our database.
5. User Accounts and Acceptable Use
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, and meet any higher minimum age or parental authorization requirements that apply where you live.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and providing accurate profile information.
- Automatic saving: Profile text edits save automatically after a short delay, and switches and selections save promptly. Check the save status and retry if an error appears. Offline changes may be queued; do not assume they have reached the server until synchronization succeeds.
- Your records: You retain your rights in information you enter. You authorize us to store and process it as needed to provide the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Optional features: Analytics, crash reporting, and account usage reporting are separate choices, off by default. Accepting these Terms does not enable them. Health access and notifications require the relevant permissions, and you can change these choices in the app or device settings.
- You agree not to reverse-engineer the App, use automated scripts/scrapers to extract our database, or use the App in any manner that could disable or overburden our cloud infrastructure.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Dignix makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure at all times.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dignix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or personal injury (including injury derived from reliance on the App's workout or nutritional data), arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you, these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maharashtra, India.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the integrity of the platform.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Use "Delete Account" in Profile or email info@dignix.in to request deletion, subject to ownership verification and the retention details in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms as the Services change. We will update the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice or seek acceptance where required.
